Rep. Rashida Tlaib followed a familiar path to lefty celebrity, ranting as loudly as anyone could about Trump. The rants were loud enough that the Democrats had no interest in addressing the very serious problem with her candidacy. Or that of Rep. Omar.
Now the latest Daily Caller report shows how closely Tlaib is linked to hateful bigots.
Tlaib’s connections to “Palestinian” activists have already led to her linkage to a terror supporter who praised the murderer of a 4-year-old Jewish girl. But these latest linkages are even uglier.
Tlaib is a member of the Facebook group “Palestinian American Congress,” where members often demonize Jews. The group’s founder, Palestinian activist Maher Abdel-qader, was a key fundraiser for Tlaib and organized campaign events for her around the country.
While anyone can be a member of a group, Tlaib has close ties to Maher and Maher is about as anti-Semitic as it gets.
