Coming off a #MeToo scandal, widely hated within her own party, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who shouldn’t even be in the senate, let alone anywhere higher, is announcing her 2020 race by branding it as “brave”.
“I’m running for president. Let’s prove that brave wins. Join me,” her tweet declares.
The idea that her candidacy is brave is chutzpah.
Gillibrand, more than anyone in the race, has flip-flopped on everything. Her only brave moment came when she, temporarily, condemned Bill Clinton.
Only to flip around.
And her condemnation of Franken’s sexual misconduct was undercut by her office’s cover-up of sexual harassment by her driver.
Brave doesn’t build a wall, she claims. Except building a wall is a brave positions. Her positions are a series of cowardly fearful concessions to the Left on everything from immigration to gun control that reverse her previously held positions.
