Senator Orrin Hatch Gives an Emotional Speech at White House Praising President Trump

Yesterday at the White House President Trump and Congress gathered to celebrate the signing of the tax cut bill that will soon go into law.  It took months of work from many members of both chambers to make this happen.  Although no Democrats saw the wisdom in giving Americans and American companies big tax cuts, the Republicans in Congress made it happen.

According to the President at Whitehouse.gov – The Tax Cuts Act means less money taken out of Americans’ paychecks.

• The Tax Cuts Act provides $5.5 trillion in tax cuts, $3.2 trillion, or nearly 60 percent, of which go to families.
• The Tax Cuts Act nearly doubles the standard deduction.
• For individuals, the standard deduction will be increased from $6,500 to $12,000. […]
