Whatever advantage Democrats had heading into the 2018 midterms is nearly gone. According to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, the Democrat lead just dropped again and is now below five points.
At this point, it looks increasingly likely that Republicans will hold the House and the Senate. Democrats have no one but themselves to blame. Instead of crafting a message or plan for the American people, they have wasted a year screaming about Russia.
Their poll numbers are tanking as a result.
