Actor Danny Glover will be in Jackson Sunday to campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Sanders had been scheduled to hold a campaign event in Mississippi Friday, but the Vermont senator cancelled his visit to campaign instead in Michigan. Both states have primary elections Tuesday.
Glover is also expected to visit several Jackson churches on Sunday morning on Sanders’ behalf, along with Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba.
Glover is as big a fan of Bernie Sanders as he is of Hugo Chavez. Here’s some more “European Democratic Socialism”.
