The Trump administration reportedly cloned the cell phones of suspected domestic terrorists in Portland in order to gather intelligence about ANTIFA.
A Department of Homeland Security official told The Nation that federal officials were “extracting information from protester’s phones” in Portland. This was reportedly one of the reasons why suspected ANTIFA terrorists were being detained.
“You’re getting an inside view into your targets, who they are, who they’re talking to—the hierarchy,” a former DHS official said to The Nation.
The feds are finally getting the picture that ANTIFA isn’t a decentralized ideology, which the organization’s propaganda claims. They are finally getting the picture that ANTIFA is organized, coordinated, well-funded, and well-trained to foment seditious domestic terrorism across the U.S.
