As Democrats staged a regurgitated testimony from disgraced Michael Cohen, former attorney to President Donald J. Trump Wednesday, Trump was in Hanoi, Vietnam talking peace with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
“It’s an honor to be with Chairman Kim,” Trump reportedly said. “I thought the first summit was a great success and I think this one, hopefully, will be equal or greater than the first.”
Trump told the leader of the hermit kingdom that he believes North Korea “has tremendous economic potential.”
Eight months after Trump brought Kim to the table in Singapore to begin discussing denuclearization in the Korean Peninsula, he hopes to accomplish that goal this time around.
