Trump’s Pressure on North Korea and Iran is Working

Published by Front Page Mag

The media has been shrilly warning of the end of the world. (As it does every Tuesday.)

Berating Kim Jong Un and ending Iran certification would lead to war. Instead Trump’s pressure on North Korea led to the usual bellicose threats, but also to Kim Jong Un reaching out to South Korea. By pressuring North Korea, the regime had few options except to further escalate the conflict or bypass Trump by reaching an agreement with South Korea. With an open South Korean government, the next move was inevitable. This doesn’t actually solve anything. North Korea’s agreements are worthless. And the South Korean government is unreliable.

But it shows that the pressure is quite clearly working.

Likewise, the pressure on Iran didn’t isolate America, as the media and the pro-nuke experts had predicted, it splintered Iran once again creating a wedge between the regime and the opposition. The protests may not overthrow Iran’s government, but like Kim Jong Un’s response, they show weakness in response to pressure.

The predictions have once again proven wrong. And President Trump’s foreign policy is working.
