There’s a larger context here because there’s a very real possibility that this is Dem on Dem violence using Republicans as cutouts.
Lt. Gov Fairfax has already suggested that the sexual assault allegation originated from Governor Northam’s camp. And, since Lt. Gov Fairfax stood to benefit the most from the blackface scandal on Northam, it’s not all that impossible that this is tit for tat.
So Fairfax’s accuser hiring a D.C. law firm is an interesting choice. The specific choice of firm is even more interesting.
A California woman who has accused Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexually assaulting her 15 years ago has hired the same law firm that represented Christine Blasey Ford in her allegations against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Fairfax has denied the allegation, which first surfaced on a conservative blog and was later described in a report by The Washington Post.
