VIDEO: De Blasio flaps arms to R. Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ at South Carolina church

New York City Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio is in a real “Space Jam” after being caught on video dancing to a song by hip hop artist R. Kelly.

De Blasio was captured flapping his arms and dancing to R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly” on Sunday during a visit to a church in South Carolina.

The short clip shows de Blasio standing on the left side of the church while choir members are singing the 1990s hit song by the now-disgraced singer.

The New York mayor and potential 2020 presidential candidate can be seen waving his arms like he’s flying and clapping along while the church belts out the song.

“I wonder if the @NYCMayor realizes who sings this song,” wrote NY1 reporter Courtney Gross, who uploaded a clip of the video to Twitter.
