Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced her intention to resign from her position at the end of this month, and was invited on stage by President Donald Trump earlier today to speak briefly about her time in the White House.
President Trump invited Sanders on stage while holding a separate White House event today, and lauded the Press Secretary’s track record in the White House, and suggested he hoped would run for governor of Arkansas in the future.
Sanders responded by thanking President Trump for the opportunity to work in his administration in a touching speech, and explained that she intended to spend more time with her three children at home after leaving the position.
