A few weeks ago, alleged reporter Jim Acosta of CNN made it a point to tell President Donald J. Trump that the migrant caravan was certainly not an attempted invasion.
“I want to challenge you on one of the statements you made on the tail end of the campaign in the midterms – that this caravan was an invasion,” Acosta said at the press briefing. “As you know Mr. President, the caravan was not an invasion. It’s a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S.”
Acosta then questioned Trump on why he characterized the caravan as an invasion, and accused Trump of “demonizing immigrants.”
Trump responded by telling Acosta to worry about running CNN, and that he would worry about running the country.
