In another strange Virginia press conference, Democrat Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax seemed to make the uncorroborated and untrue claim that Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam worked with Big League Politics to break the news of his sexual assault accusation to distract from the news Big League Politics also broke about Northam’s racist yearbook photo.
After Northam’s bizarre press conference, in which he rambled about Black Hawk Down and admitted to wearing shoe polish on his face, Virginians may have thought they had seen it all. Eager to prove them wrong, Fairfax today seemed to suggest that Big League Politics broke the story about his sexual assault accusation to distract from Big League Politics’ coverage of Northam’s racist yearbook photos.
The governor first alluded to this conspiracy in his public statement, telling Virginians that “Only now, at a time of intense media attention surrounding Virginia politics, has this false claim been raised again,” then added more details in his press conference.
