While speaking with Christiane Amanpour in an interview for her new hour-long program on both CNN and PBS, Nancy Pelosi says that she is more than confident she will be House Speaker again when Democrats win the midterm elections on November 6th.
Amanpour praised Pelosi, referring to her as a “trail blazer” and expressed that Pelosi had “achieved incredible things.” Peolsi told Amanpour that he may have stepped aside to make room for new leadership if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election, mainly because she wanted to protect Obamacare- a law in which Pelosi said she felt “very proprietary.”
Since “45” won however-Pelosi would not refer to Trump as “president during the interview-she would stay and run for speaker, in part to inspire other women.
