The First Amendment protects media outlets from being criticized by President Trump, but it doesn’t protect media outlets that praise Trump.
The First Amendment allows corporate media to maintain a monopoly on the media, but if the political opposition runs their own sites, they’re a threat to everything that the First Amendment stands for.
The First Amendment doesn’t allow Americans to have access to Obama’s rationale for spying on his political opponents, the full text of the Iran Deal or the sources that his political allies have been using to try and reverse the 2016 election. But it does protect the absolute right of Twitter trolls not to be blocked by Trump.
