Surprise, surprise. NBC has completed its internal investigation of former Today Show host Matt Lauer’s rampant sexual harassment and absolved itself of guilt.
They found that NBC leadership had no idea about Lauer, whose sexual proclivities were often joked about by Katie Couric and other colleagues, including at a roast that poked fun at his reported affair with co-worker Ann Curry.
NBC released results of its internal investigation stemming from the misconduct allegations that toppled Today show star Matt Lauer last November. The report stated that the investigation turned up no evidence that leadership at NBC News, Today or human resources “received complaints” about Lauer’s “workplace behavior prior to November 27, 2017.” […]
