On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, Chuck Woolery and Mark Young speak extensively about the latest racial controversy making the popular headlines, with the Oscar nominees. They consider how the complaints of diversity don’t really matter, as the Academy Awards do not strive to be sociologically representative. Talk of movies leads to 13 Hours and a discussion of Hillary Clinton and the Benghazi scandal.
They welcome Colonel Robert Maness to the podcast, who is running for U.S. Senator in Louisiana. They chat about the machine that is the government and why Maness wants to get involved with that challenge. Maness discusses his desire to serve people and why he intends to stick with promises of his platform without getting “domesticated.”
Rob Maness was a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2011 after 32 years of service. His time in the Service taught him about the importance of keeping a strong military. It also gave him the opportunity to work with the United States national security team in the global war on terrorism. He discusses our lack of security within and outside of the country – and how we need to fix it.
