An Arizona state senator has announced that the Senate will issue subpoenas to inspect and audit Dominion machines used in Maricopa County.
Senator Eddie Farnsworth (R-Gilbert), who chairs the Arizona Senate Judiciary Committee, made the announcement Monday following a six-hour legislative hearing about the election.
“There is evidence of tampering, there is evidence of fraud,” Farnsworth said. He mentioned that an audit will hopefully “reinsert some confidence in our election process.”
“We hold and audit and we see what the outcome is. And then we can put this to rest,” he said.
Farnsworth is also concerned that many are too quick to dismiss all allegations of potential fraud as false, which silences legitimate questions and weakens confidence in the system.
