FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: “ANGEL MOM” SABINE DURDEN JOINS FIGHT SANCTUARY STATE’S LEADERSHIP TEAM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“ANGEL MOM” SABINE DURDEN JOINS FIGHT SANCTUARY STATE’S LEADERSHIP TEAM

Los Angeles, CA  (April 24, 2018) – Sabine Durden, whose son Dominic was killed by an illegal alien who had been previously deported for a violent felony, has endorsed the Children, Family, and Community Protection Act ballot initiative filed by Fight Sanctuary State. Durden is also joining Fight Sanctuary State’s leadership team.

“In the sanctuary state of California, illegal aliens have more rights than any American. In Jerry Brown’s mind, legal immigrants and Americans don’t matter all that much and any losses we sustain are just collateral damage,” Durden said. “Don’t just sit there and think this will get better. We need to stand up and get loud about what we want for our for us, our kids and families, and future generations. I have joined Fight Sanctuary State because I believe the Children, Family, and Community Protection Act is a critical part of solving the problems caused by lax immigration enforcement and sanctuary policies.”

Dominic Durden was 30 years old and a member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department when illegal alien Juan Zacarias Tzun drunkenly drove his truck into the path of Dominic’s motorcycle. Dominic was killed instantly. Though Tzun had been convicted of DUI twice prior to the crash that killed Dominic, and was a previously-deported violent felon, he only served 35 days in jail for killing Dominic. He has since been deported.

Since Dominic’s death Sabine launched a foundation, Dom Hugs, and is a member of Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime. She has testified before Congress on the issue of illegal alien crime and spoke at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Fight Sanctuary State was founded by parents whose children were killed by criminal illegal aliens. The group aims to educate the public on the dangers of so-called sanctuary policies and has filed a proposed ballot initiative, the “Children, Family, and Community Protection Act,” aimed at repealing California’s Sanctuary State laws.
