NBA Announcer Suspended for Tweeting ‘All Lives Matter’ on His Twitter Account

A National Basketball Association (NBA) announcer was suspended from his position after writing “All Lives Matter” in a post on his personal Twitter account.

Grant Napear, who has worked an announcer for the Sacramento Kings team since 1988, was put on administrative leave by his radio network because he wrote: “All Lives Matter… Every Single One!” in a Twitter post. “I’m not as educated on BLM as I thought I was,” Napear said in his apology, according to The Sacramento Bee. “I had no idea that when I said ‘All Lives Matter’ that it was counter to what BLM is trying to get across.”
