A group of supporters of Illinois congressional candidate Stefanie Smith and socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders swarmed Betsy Dirksen Londrigan’s car, demanding she debate Smith.
The group broadcast the act live on Facebook Monday night, and it was subsequently aired by WCIA:
The Facebook Live video shows the group trying to find Londrigan’s car, and after they do, they surround it and attempt to intimidate her.
“Will you support Medicare for All?” one of the Bernie bros shouted.
“What do we want?” he continued as the others replied, “Candidate debate!”
“When do we want it?”
“Now!” was the refrain.
“Block her in! Blocker her in!” the man ordered his comrades as the car attempted to leave.
“Get by her window!” the man continued to yell, as Londrigan sat in the passenger seat.
