President Donald Trump is open to podcaster Joe Rogan moderating a presidential debate between himself and former vice president Joe Biden.
Trump made his stance clear with a tweet posted on Monday morning:
I do! https://t.co/H9Eghnqpuy
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2020
UFC fighter Tim Kennedy posted additional information about how the proposed debate would take place:
A long form debate with a neutral moderator.
No fake audience reactions.
No biased questions.
Neutral camera positions.
No sound bite length responses.
Just their respective policies explained to us.
Please @realDonaldTrump and @JoeBiden make it happen. #debate #joerogandebate— Tim Kennedy (@TimKennedyMMA) September 14, 2020
Unfortunately for the American public, a presidential debate moderated by Rogan is not likely to happen. Biden is reportedly even considering going back on his word and ducking out of the tightly controlled and moderated debates that are currently scheduled to take place.
