In an interview with CNN’s David Axelrod on Sunday, former U.S. secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she’s worried the #MeToo movement will turn women into snowflakes.
When asked if she’s ever been the victim of sexual harrassment, Rice responded that while she’s never been a victim of sexual assault, people have certainly said inappropriate things to her.
“I don’t know a woman alive who hasn’t had somebody say or do something that was inappropriate at best and aggressive at worst,” Rice said.
While aspects of the ongoing #MeToo movement have brought about greater transparency, Rice said, she’s worried it might turn toxic and infantilize women.
