It’s an old computer term that applies to a whole lot of areas beyond the digital. Garbage in, garbage out.
That’s what happens with immigration bills in the Senate. Amnesty, amnesty and amnesty. Amnesty under the guise of economic improvement. Amnesty under the guise of border security. Amnesty under the guise of a bipartisan compromise. Whatever proposal gets moving, it eventually becomes amnesty.
